ABOUT

KONANNA makes naturally sparkling drinks from tea, herbs and flowers. Low in alcohol or alcohol-free, dry and unfiltered. Their fine bubbles, acidity and depth come from fermentation, not injected carbonation or dealcoholisation.

We are not trying to imitate wine or make another soft drink. We create distinct drinks for the table, equally at home in a wine glass or alongside a tasting menu.

ROOTS IN THE WEINVIERTEL

Anna and Konstantin met while studying food product development. Both grew up in Austria’s Weinviertel, surrounded by agriculture and later closely connected to the natural wine community. That world continues to shape KONANNA: observe closely, trust the raw material and intervene only when truly necessary.

After years of working with tea, herbs and their own fermentation cultures, they founded KONANNA in 2024. Their approach combines technical knowledge with an intuitive understanding of flavour. Every recipe is built through many trials, time and a determination not to mask plants, but to reveal their full complexity through fermentation.

PÉTILLANT NATUREL

For us, Pétillant Naturel describes more than sparkle. It describes how the drink is made. Bubbles, acidity, structure and flavour develop together during fermentation. We do not inject carbonation or remove alcohol afterwards. The result cannot be recreated by separating the process into individual components.

BOTANICALS AT THE CORE

ANTI is our alcohol-free interpretation of Pétillant Naturel. It begins with certified organic herbs and flowers, not a dealcoholised base. Bergamot and Elder are fermented with our own cultures, then bottled unfiltered, without added sulphites or other additives.

This allows the plants themselves to create fine bubbles, tension and length. Bergamot is precise, citrus-driven and gently bitter. Elder is floral, herbal and soft. Both are uncompromisingly dry and made as distinct companions to food.

FROM TEA TO ANTI

KONANNA began with Pétillant Naturel Tea. High-quality organic tea brings aroma, tannin and structure, while bottle fermentation creates the natural sparkle. At around two per cent alcohol, Tea deliberately sits between familiar categories: lighter than wine, more complex and drier than a conventional soft drink.

Years of working with tea and fermentation became the foundation for ANTI. Tea is not a first chapter we left behind, but the origin of our signature.

AT THE TABLE & BEYOND

What began in small trials is now poured in selected restaurants and bars and found in specialist shops across Europe and beyond. KONANNA belongs at the table, but also wherever food, design and culture meet. For the opening of its new Vienna store in 2026, H&M chose ANTI Bergamot for a limited co-branded edition.
