What exactly is Pét Nat Tea?

SENCHA Pét Nat Tea

PÉT NAT - The Sparkling Tradition, Reimagined

Pét Nat, short for 'Pétillant Naturel,' refers to naturally sparkling beverages made using the traditional 'Méthode Ancestrale.' While Pét Nat wines are typically made from grapes, we've taken a different approach by using high-quality organic green tea.

Our Pét Nat Tea is created through the fermentation of sweetened tea with a SCOBY (symbiotic colony of yeasts and bacteria).

Fermentation takes place directly in the bottle, producing distinctive aromas and natural bubbles. With extended aging, the flavors deepen and harmonize, resulting in a sophisticated and balanced taste experience.
